Enabling the WhatsApp channel
Connect a WhatsApp number to the channel through the AgileHub hub: convenient for reporters, «identity-protected» not anonymous.
Besides the web channel you can offer reporters a WhatsApp number. The integration goes through the AgileHub messaging hub, which acts as a relay between WhatsApp and your Vocea channel; content stays encrypted towards the supervisory body.
How to enable it
- From the handler console (/gestore) open the channel and go to the integrations/messaging section.
- Request the WhatsApp channel connection to the AgileHub hub and associate the published number.
- Publish the number at your contact points (privacy notice, intranet, signage) next to the web channel link.
What the organisation sees and does not see
- The organisation does NOT see the reporter’s phone number: it stays on the messaging hub, not on Vocea systems.
- The supervisory body reads the content only after decryption in its own browser, with the private key: Vocea stays zero-knowledge.
- The WhatsApp/hub hop is not «blind» end-to-end like the web form: that is why the channel is «identity-protected», not anonymous.
In your privacy notice state clearly that the WhatsApp channel is «identity-protected» and does not guarantee technical anonymity: the reporter’s number transits the messaging provider’s systems and the delivery hub, while the content is encrypted towards the supervisory body.
